Markel Basic Health
Markel Basic Health insurance is designed for the 26 million working Americans who do not have health insurance. It is not intended to replace major medical coverage, but it does provide a meaningful level of benefits for groups and associations without coverage at an affordable rate for both employer and employee.
It is a limited medical plan that directly reimburses employees a fixed amount for the medical services they use most, such as doctors’ office visits, emergency room visits, diagnostic testing, surgery, and hospitalization.
*NOTE: Markel Basic Health insurance is available for groups and associations. If you are an individual looking for health insurance, consider Markel Short Term Medical or Comprehensive Accident insurance.Â
