Study Abroad
Markel offers colleges, universities, and secondary schools a comprehensive and cost-effective study abroad insurance plan for students studying in a foreign country. The coverage is sold on a blanket basis to the school and is “excess” protection; premium costs may be passed on to students. Markel’s modular approach allows for customization of each policy, which can include accident and sickness, trip cancellation, personal property, and/or general liability benefits.
